At Grey Matters Health Inc., we are working to provide patients with an elevated imaging experience through the establishment of a new national network of dedicated brain PET scanning clinics in the U.S. under the NovaScan Neuroimaging ClinicsTM brand. These specialized and streamlined clinics will be the first of their kind to provide brain specific PET scans utilizing new technology to aid in the early detection of Alzheimer’s Disease (AD) and other forms of dementia, as well as epilepsy, neuro-oncology, and movement disorders including Parkinson’s disease.

Advanced, FDA-Cleared Imaging Technology

NovaScan Neuroimaging ClinicsTM will feature the CareMiBrainTM PET Brain Scanning System that has been cleared by the U.S. FDA. Not a full body hybrid PET/CT scanner, the CareMiBrain is an ultra-compact, high resolution imaging chair that uses PET technology exclusively and delivers 25% less radiation to patients. Its size and weight allow it to be located in almost any clinical setting ensuring ready community access.

A New National Network of High-Touch Clinics

NovaScan Neuroimaging ClinicsTM will deliver an elevated clinical experience focused on high-touch patient comfort and hospitality, optimized imaging, as well as highest quality reporting and rapid turnarounds on studies to referring physicians. The clinics will be the first of their kind in the U.S. to offer brain only PET scanning to meet the growing demand and need for detection of Alzheimer’s and other neurodegenerative disorders.

Patient Referrals from the Medical Community

The clinics will work in partnership with neurologists, geriatricians, primary care physicians, and other medical professionals and organizations to generate brain PET scan patient referrals. Grey Matters will also work to help educate the 50+ population on the benefits of earlier detection and management of AD onset. Beta-amyloid plaques can begin appearing in the brain 15-20 years before the presentation of any cognitive symptoms.

Inaugural Location in Southern Florida

Open to Patients Summer 2026

The first NovaScan Neuroimaging ClinicsTM location will be opening at the beautiful HCA Florida University Medical Office Building in Davie, located on the campus of the HCA Florida University Hospital. With 6 million people within an hour’s drive, this will afford the clinic access to a target market of 2.5 million people age 50 and over.
